Lars Ranek discovered photography in the middle of the 1980s when he attended an adult education course where, for the first time, he had the chance to work in a darkroom. More importantly, he fell in love with photography because it was a medium through which he could tell stories and transmit emotions. His images are inspired by nature and characterized by a clear Scandinavian style.
